Better.com CEO apologizes for firing workers over Zoom
Better.com CEO Vishal Garg has apologized since receiving backlash from firing 900 workers over Zoom. He is facing immense criticism on social media, with one user calling the act “crass.” Following the Zoom, three top communications executives quit. Garg has since posted an apology to current workers saying, “I want to apologize for the way I handled the layoffs last week, I failed to show the appropriate amount of respect and appreciation for the individuals who were affected and for their contributions to Better.”
