Nurses end their historically long 10-month strike
Nurses in Massachusetts have reached an agreement with St. Vincent Hospital, ending their 301-day strike. A tentative agreement with the Massachusetts Nurses Association union was reached on December 17th after an all-day bargaining session. The agreement was ratified with 487 members voting in favor of the agreement and only 9 against. St. Vincent says they expect nurses to be back to work by January 22nd.
