Amazon is facing complaints of unlawful firing
A NLRB spokeswoman said that the NLRB has recently found claims about a fired worker to have merit. The NLRB official in Brooklyn plans to file a formal complaint against Amazon unless they settle the case. The claims involve Daequan Smith being fired for supposedly being “a vocal union supporter at a New York warehouse in the midst of an organizing campaign. “A fundraising campaign was launched for Smith claiming that he was left homeless after being fired.
