On Friday, the United Steelworkers union rejected a 4% pay increase offer by Marathon Petroleum. A Marathon spokesman said that contract talks were continuing. The USW sent a message to its members saying that the company, “was ignoring issues the union has raised in the talks that began on Jan. 13.”
