A new contract was approved by a Kroger owned company
A 10-day strike that lasted from January 12th to January 21st came to an end when union workers for King Soopers, owned by Kroger Co., reached a deal. In the three-year contract deal King Soopers will invest $170 million in wage increases. While the union expects to see 95% of the workers to receive an increase in pay in the first year not all workers are happy with the deal that was made.
