Arizona Starbucks store workers vote ‘yes’ for unionization
On Friday, the NLRB announced that workers at a Starbucks store in Mesa, AZ voted to unionize. This is now the third store to unionize out of Starbucks’ roughly 9,000 stores nationwide. Workers voted 25 to 3 to unionize with three votes challenged by Starbucks. A shift supervisor at the store said in a statement, “This is another historic moment for Starbucks partners and service industry workers across the country. This movement started in Buffalo, and we've now brought it across the country.”
