Google mandates workers to come back to the office starting April 4th
On Wednesday, Google sent an email to employees letting them know that starting April 4th they will require employees to officially begin their hybrid work model. The company expects most employees to be in the offices three days a week with some variance by team and role in the U.K., U.S., and Asian Pacific offices. Employees who will not be ready to return April 4th can seek a remote work extension and unvaccinated workers can request an exemption or apply for permanent remote work. The email said that Google has approved almost 14,000 employees globally to go fully remote or transfer to a new location.
