Tech workers at The New York Times vote for unionization
The NLRB has announced that nearly 600 tech workers at The New York Times have voted for unionization. The workers voted 404-88 to join The NewsGuild of New York. A spokesperson for The New York Times said, “the company looked forward to negotiating a contract with the union.” The union said in a statement that this vote will “enable its members to have a say in their pay, benefits and working conditions.”
