Tentative agreement is reached between Howard University and their faculty
Howard University has reached a tentative three-year agreement with the union representing faculty members. Faculty members were set to strike from Wednesday to Friday, refusing to teach their course or take part in other academic responsibilities. The SEIU agreed to call off the walkout considering the agreement. The agreement still needs to be ratified, and will be voted on in the coming weeks, but a celebration rally took place on campus signifying worker satisfaction with the deal.
