The job economy is rapidly growing with not enough workers to meet the demand
Today, the Labor Department released data that the number of workers leaving their jobs has increased and that job opening remain near record highs. Their findings indicate that the demand for workers is outgrowing the availability of workers. Economists, union, and labor experts alike are saying that companies need to show their employees that they care, that they value their work, and do so with conventional means like higher pay but also unconventional ways like learning the “love language” of their hires.
