$1.5 million settlement has been reached with McDonald’s following a sexual harassment lawsuit
The American Civil Liberties Union's Women's Rights Project announced on Monday that a settlement has been reached with McDonald's Corp. and former employees who alleged rampant sexual harassment. The settlement is for $1.5 million and over 100 women who worked at the Michigan based franchise store ‘will be eligible to claim an average award of $10,000 depending on the extent of the harassment they endured.” The agreement is still tentative as it must be approved by a federal judge.
