New survey highlights the importance of employee experience in retaining workers
According to a 2022 survey from FlexJobs, the number one reason employees quit their jobs in the past six months was a toxic company culture. 25% of those surveyed have resigned over the past six months with 68% of them not having another position lined up. With toxic company culture being the top reason, poor management, low salary, and lackluster work life balance were all other top motivations. A career services manager at FlexJobs said, “Of the top seven factors people consider when deciding to quit a job, six of them revolve around the employee experience.”
