Postal worker safety called into question in a California neighborhood
The United States Postal Service suspended mail delivery on a block in Santa Monica due to carrier safety last week. In a letter to residents, the USPS said, “all addresses located on the 1300 bock of 14th Street following multiple assaults and threats of assault against postal workers by a person in the neighborhood.” Service resumed in the area on Tuesday.
