Ford to make employee cuts
Ford Motor announced on Wednesday that they will be cutting 580 U.S. salaried and agency workers as part of their Ford+ turnaround plan. The cuts are mainly in engineering and include 350 salaried employees and 230 agency positions. The company says affected employees will receive severance equal to up to nine months of pay, a continuation of their benefits and career transition services. These cuts represent only about 1% of their salaried workforce.
