Governor Tim Walz of Minnesota signed a bill into law that will give essential workers during the pandemic. An estimated 667,000 frontline workers will receive a $750 bonus check. This will go out to first responders, medical workers, meatpackers, and grocery clerks. To be eligible employees must have worked 120 hours between March 15, 2020, and June 30, 2021.
