Starbucks wrote a letter to a White House advisor requesting a meeting
On Thursday, President Joe Biden met with 39 nation labor leaders including representatives from the rapidly spreading Starbucks union campaign. Starbucks’ head of global communications and public affairs wrote to one of Biden’s advisors expressing his unhappiness with the lack of company representation at the meeting. He wrote, “We believe this lack of representation discounts the reality that the majority of our partners oppose being members of a union.” He is requesting a meeting with the White House.
