The USW files charges against Chevron
This week the United Steel Workers union have filed charges with the NLRB against Chevron Corp. Their charge alleges that Chevron has engaged in coercive of actions, made coercive statements, refused to bargain in good faith, and has changed the terms of employment without furnishing information. Workers at the refinery in Richmond, California have been on strike since March 21st and no progress has been made in negotiation talks. A Chevron spokesperson said that the company has not seen the details of the NLRB charges.
