Federal prosecutors begin inspecting Amazon warehouses for poor working conditions
Inspections of Amazon warehouses outside of New York, Chicago, and Orlando began earlier this week under the direction of the United State Labor Department's Occupational Safety and Health Administration, acting upon information received from federal prosecutors for the Southern District of New York. Federal prosecutors are investigating complaints concerning worker safety hazards, which include the pace of work, uncomfortable working conditions due to heat, and injury potential.
