Since the pandemic and the shift to remote work, the finance sector has seen declines in employee performance. As a result, companies are now working on creative ways to encourage employees to return to the office, including free meals and increased benefits. However, many employees have expressed resistance to returning in person, even on a hybrid schedule, as they have gotten used to new lifestyles without commuting time and with increased flexibility. In order to entice workers to come back to the office, some companies are going so far as incorporating hotel-like services to help employees with their daily errands.
