Since the Covid-19 pandemic, remote-work visas have grown in popularity and practice. An additional 12 countries are planning to add these remote work programs in the near future, and they will be competing with over 30 countries for international remote workers. Despite the recent shift to bring employees back into the office, it is likely that these flexible remote work options will remain higher in number than pre-pandemic levels. Interest in remote work in foreign countries continues to grow as more American workers are becoming "digital nomads."
