Some US workers want their employers to do more to ensure access to abortion
In a recent survey, nearly half of the workers reported that they feel their companies are not doing enough to support abortion access. Furthermore, research has indicated that employees expect their companies to authentically align their internal and external policies. As such, there is the potential that some of these disappointed workers may quit their jobs, as some indicated in the survey that they have considered quitting. Some of the policies these workers stated they wish their companies were engaging in include funding for travel expenses, more flexible paid time off, and remote work options.
