After signficiant workforce reductions in November, Meta announces another round of layoffs
On Tuesday, Meta announced its plan to lay off an additional 10,000 workers following its recent workforce reduction in November. The company will be continuing to restructure by flattening its organization and reducing hiring rates. In addition to the additional layoffs, Meta will also be closing thousands of open roles it had yet to fill. CEO Zuckerberg has claimed that these changes will make the company leaner to accomplish its efficiency goals in 2023.
