$4 Billion 5-year contract reached between NYC mayor and Uniformed Officers Coalition
New York City’s mayor Eric Adams announced that the city has reached an agreement with the Uniformed Officers Coalition, which represents a majority of New York City’s municipal workforce. 11 unions are represented by the Uniformed Officers Coalition, which includes police groups, fire groups, sanitation groups, and corrections groups. The agreement promises a $4B five-year contract, with workers receiving pay increases ranging from 3.25% to 4%. The mayor stated that it is a top priority to support New York City’s public servants that keep the city safe and clean.
