Underground trains in London will experience disruptions as train drivers plan to strike
The Aslef union that represents London underground train drivers has announced that workers will strike on July 26 and 28. The union is looking to negotiate with Transport of London for better working conditions and increased pensions for train drivers. London Underground staff workers that are a part of the Rail, Maritime, and Transport Workers union will also be striking at the same time, which will result in major disruptions and stoppages. Other transportation services in London will be in service during this time and are expecting to experience greater crowds and congestion.
