Royal Mail Group and the Communications Workers Union have reached an agreement, putting an end to worker strikes
In the past year, Royal Mail workers have gone on strike several times over negotiations for increased pay and better working conditions. Royal Mail workers are represented by the Communications Workers Union, and the union has successfully voted to accept the contract offered. The contract will benefit consumers, employees, communities, and shareholders. The operational changes will improve quality and services, increase job security and worker pay, and lower carbon emissions. These changes will make employee experiences better, and the changes will also increase the profitability and sustainability of the Royal Mail Group.
