Venetian and Palazzo Resorts and Culinary Workers Union reach tentative agreement
Las Vegas hospitality workers at two major resorts, the Venetian and the Palazzo, have reached tentative agreements with respective resort managements. Workers at the two resorts are represented by the Culinary Workers Union, and the tentative contracts will cover thousands of employees, including housekeepers, servers, casino employees, and various other workers. The tentative agreement will increase pay by over thirty percent over the next five years, increase job security, and reduce employee workloads. The contract will be sent to unionized workers for a vote, and if a majority of workers vote in favor, the contracts will be the first union agreements at the Venetian Resort and the Palazzo Resort.
