Unionized Boston Water and Sewer Commission employees have expressed concern to management regarding the misconduct of HR director
The Boston Water and Sewer Commission and unionized workers are in contact after lawsuits were filed against the commission’s HR director. Workers are represented by the Service Employees International Union, the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Union, and the Office and Professional Employees International Union, and the union wants the Boston Water and Sewer Commission management to investigate the allegations brought up in the lawsuits and suspend the HR director. The lawsuits claim that the HR director cheated a woman out of a 75 thousand dollar mortgage loan, and also tried to trick an elderly relative to give up their home. Workers have stated that they are concerned that the director is still employed and has access to sensitive information, including social security numbers and banking numbers.
