UFL players union files unfair labor practice charges
The United Football Players Association (UFPA) has filed unfair labor practice charges against the United Football League (UFL) with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). The UFPA alleges that the UFL threatened to cut players for participating in union activities, terminated quarterback Quinten Dormady due to his union involvement, implemented new disciplinary rules to deter union participation, denied union representatives access to league facilities, and engaged in surveillance of players' union activities. These allegations come amid ongoing negotiations for a new collective bargaining agreement, with the UFL's second season set to begin in two weeks.
