Summer trail and bike patrol workers at Park City Mountain in Utah are moving to unionize, following the success of the resort’s ski patrol union after a strike last winter. Many of the summer employees also work during the winter and say they deserve similar protections and pay. Their petition will go to the National Labor Relations Board for approval. If successful, they’ll form a new unit under the same union that represents the ski patrol.
