140 Trade Demonstrators Arrested in Miami
About 140 demonstrators were arrested following a heated protest of the Free Trade Area of the Americas that turned violent. At the same time, the AFL-CIO unions staged a peaceful march
of about 8,000 to 10,000 members. Protesters say the proposed free trade zone will cause the loss of thousands of jobs to other countries, reduce workers' rights and harm the environment.
