20,000 AT&T workers strike; company says customers 'a priority'
Around 20,000 AT&T employees started a strike on Tuesday. The workers' contracts expired in April, and negotiations have not been successful. The company says that the walkout is not necessary, and that workers have been fairly compensated. The company said that they have plans in place to handle the strike. The Communications Workers of America reached deals with workers in other parts if the country earlier this month.
