400,000 workers predicted to strike
On Thursday, around 400,000 public sector workers in Britain are set to go on strike. The strike is a response to the government's affirmation of changes to pensions and pay. The changes would require workers to pay more in to their pensions and work longer. Last November over a million workers protested the changes. Police, health workers, immigration officers and others are all expected to join in the protests.
