Anheuser-Busch is planning on laying off hundreds of corporate workers after Bud Light beer sales dropped due to boycotts from conservative consumers. Conservative consumers expressed outrage over Bud Light’s Pride Month campaign and stopped purchasing Bud Light products. Bud Light dropped from its position as the best-selling beer in the United States, and Modelo now holds the top position. Anheuser- Busch stated that the layoffs will not affect frontline workers, which includes delivery drivers and warehouse workers.
