About one in five workers worldwide telecommute: poll
A new poll has found that 20% of workers around the world telecommute to work frequently, with 10% telecommuting every day. The poll found that telecommunication is more popular in India, Indonesia and Mexico, but less so in Europe. The poll found that while some employees were enthusiastic about the idea of telecommuting, others were more skeptical. 62% of those polled said that they found telecommuting isolating and a majority thought that working from home could cause conflict within their family.
