Activision Blizzard workers call for the removal of their CEO
Over 1,330 employees at Activision Blizzard have signed a petition calling for the resignation of their CEO Bobby Kotick. The workers said in a statement released on Friday that his alleged mishandling of sexual harassment “runs counter to the culture and integrity required of our leadership.” Some of the company's shareholders are also pushing for Kotick’s removal, asking him to step down immediately in a letter released on Wednesday. The push for his removal has gained steamed after an article was released this week claiming that he had been aware of alleged incidents of sexual harassment and assault but did not disclose them to the company's board of directors or to shareholders. At this time, it appears that Activision's board of directors still support Kotick.
