Activision sued over workplace culture
The California State Department of Fair Employment and Housing filed a lawsuit on Tuesday against Activision over claims of sexual harassment and discrimination. The lawsuit cites the company of having a frat boy culture and allowed sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior toward women in the workplace. They also claim that women were often paid less and less likely to be promoted than men. Activision says, “there is no place in our company…for sexual misconduct or harassment of any kind.”
