Actors, Studios Agree on Contract
Although their current contract doesn't expire until the end of June, the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television & Radio Artists have settled on a contract, covering 140,000 performers, with Hollywood studios. If ratified, the agreement will provide a 9 percent raise over three years, an increase in health and pension contributions and increased residuals, but not a bigger share of DVD revenue that the unions have sought.
