Air Canada to resume service as flight attendants' union ends strike
A four-day strike by Air Canada’s flight attendants ended Tuesday after the union reached a tentative deal with the airline. The walkout, the first of its kind in 40 years, disrupted hundreds of thousands of passengers’ travel plans and forced the carrier to pull its earnings guidance. Operations are set to resume gradually, with full service expected to take more than a week. The agreement addressed workers’ demands for pay during tasks like boarding, a longstanding source of tension in the industry.
