Air France Pilots End Two-Week Strike
Although pilots do not agree with management?s plan to expand Transavia, the low cost-subsidiary of Air France, pilots will end the strike in the interest of the company and passengers. The pilots began the strike because the expansion of Transavia will eventually lead to longer hours and a smaller wage. The airline will return to normal service Tuesday, although flights Sunday and Monday were cancelled for logistical and safety reasons.
