Airport workers complain of dirty restrooms
The workers who clean airplane restrooms at Los Angeles and San Francisco international airports claim that they have no time or resources to do their jobs, leading to dirty restrooms. They note that, in some cases, they have had to resort to cleaning restrooms with water because they had no disinfecting cleanser. The workers hope to raise awareness of the problems by handing out sanitary cleaning wipes to passengers at both airports. The workers are hired by companies contracted by airlines for a number of different ground support services. Of the 2500 workers at Los Angeles International Airport, 600 clean airplane cabins.
