All major Las Vegas Strip casinos are now unionized in historic labor victory
For the first time in history, all major casinos on the Las Vegas Strip are now unionized, marking a major victory for Nevada’s Culinary Workers Union. After years of resistance, the Venetian and Fontainebleau casinos finalized labor contracts, completing the unionization of the Strip. The deals secured significant wage increases, better working conditions, and stronger protections for hospitality workers. Union leaders say the achievement fulfills a decades-long goal of making Las Vegas a “union town.”
