Amazon Announces Plan to Cut Worker Injuries by 50%
Amazon announced today that it will be partnering with WorkingWell, a program that provides employees with physical, mental and nutritional support, among other wellness services. WorkingWell is tentatively planned to be rolled out across the entire U.S. operations by year-end. The goal of the program is reduce recordable incident rates by 50% by 2025. Amazon has faced large amounts of criticism over the year due to the company's relentless nature on workers. However, the company plans to shell out over $300 million in safety projects throughout the year.
