Amazon will hire 14% more workers this season than in past years amounting to around 86,000 new hires. This is a trend across retail stores, as Kohls plans to hire 67,000 workers this season. Companies are expecting an increase in consumer demand this year. Amazon plans to hire 10,000 of those workers full-time after the end of the season.
