Amazon reportedly fires senior managers involved with union activity
Amazon has reportedly fired over half a dozen senior managers. These managers were involved in the Staten Island warehouse union campaign that succeeded last month. Amazon said these changes were the result of evaluating the warehouse “operations and leadership” for many weeks. Although, these firing have taken place outside of Amazon’s typical employee review cycle and a report by the New York Times found that some of these managers recently got positive performance reviews and some have been with the company for over six years.
