Amazon warehouse workers’ union election rerun is underway
Amazon warehouse workers in Bessemer, Alabama have begun their union election do-over after the NLRB ruled that Amazon interfered with the first election and ordered a new one. Ballots were sent to workers on February 4th and are due back by March 25th. As part of their settlement with the NLRB, Amazon agreed to refrain from threatening workers or carrying out punitive action for union activity. Some workers claim that Amazon is once again engaging in aggressive union busting.
