Amazon workers worldwide are staging a Black Friday strike. A coalition of workers and activists called Make Amazon Pay has organized for workers to strike in Amazon factories, warehouses, data centers, corporate offices, and oil refineries. Make Amazon Pay published a list of 25 demands on their website including calling for Amazon to raise wages, pay more taxes, and reduce its carbon footprint. In a statement, Make Amazon Pay said, “The pandemic has exposed how Amazon places profits ahead of workers, society, and our planet.”
