On October 13th, ambulance workers in Northern Ireland and England will strike to have a 1% salary increase applied to all NHS staff rather than just a select group who is not covered by an automated pay progression. 78% percent of GMB?s members voted to take action and will participate in a four-hour walkout along side other healthcare workers.
