Jay Leno and Conan O'Brien will return to the air on January 2 even if the Writers Guild of America strike is not yet resolved, according to an announcement made Monday by NBC. Two of the most high-profile talk show hosts to make such a decision, both Leno and O'Brien still express support for the strike and are looking for ways to continue displaying solidarity while producing episodes to provide work for non-writing staff members.
