AMR, pilots agree on language for new labor deal
American Airlines and the Allied Pilots Association reached an agreement on Friday for a new contract. The pilots still have to ratify the agreement. The pilots rejected a previous agreement in August. The union says that the deal reflects the industry standard. The pilots union is the last union that the airline needs to reach an agreement with. The airline declared bankruptcy last year, and won a court battle allowing them to vacate their labor agreements.
