Pima County workers will be penalized for remaining unvaccinated. Arizona’s Pima County Board of Supervisors voted to make unvaccinated workers pay more for their health insurance amounting to $1,570 annually. The board previously authorized three days paid leave and a $300 bonus for county workers to get vaccinated. Other agenda items were brought up, like reimplementing their indoor mask mandate, but they lacked support among the board.
